Job requirements
Your Role
At Noldus, we work on innovative solutions in the field of behavioral research in humans and animals. We do this by means of software that interfaces with electronics-based hardware. We are looking for a new colleague who knows how a soldering iron works and is enthusiastic about state-of-the-art sensors and modern techniques. Our ideal colleague is a pleasant partner for both colleagues and external suppliers and someone who enjoys presenting concepts but also loves results. If you enjoy work that contributes to research with a positive impact on our society, then this position (32-40 hours p/w) is a great fit for you!
You fit in well with us when you have:
Completed professional training in Embedded Systems or Electrical Engineering
3+ years of experience in electronical and mechanical development or production
Experience with a PCB drawing package such as Altium or KiCAD
Basic knowledge of digital and analog electronics
An innovative mindset for developing, building and testing prototypes and zero series
Experience with mechanical engineering is appreciated
Embedded programming experience in C, C++, MicroPython or Rust
Experience with PlatformIO, VSCode, Arduino IDE or KEIL is an advantage
A creative, enterprising and quality-conscious person who likes to work in a team
Know exactly where information can be found in datasheets
Good skills in the English language, both verbally and in writing
Mandarin Chinese is a plus
And last but not least A sense of humor!
