Your Role

We are looking for a meticulous technical test automation engineer for 32–40 hours per week. Together with software engineers, this test automation engineer maintains the high quality of our products by:

• Setting up, managing, and executing automated tests in close collaboration with product owners and developers

• Specifying test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria

• Automating functional and performance tests

• Supporting developers in defining unit tests

• Daily monitoring and maintenance of nightly automated tests

Your Role

We are looking for a meticulous technical test automation engineer for 32–40 hours per week. Together with software engineers, this test automation engineer maintains the high quality of our products by:

•  Setting up, managing, and executing automated tests in close collaboration with product owners and developers

•  Specifying test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria

•  Automating functional and performance tests

•  Supporting developers in defining unit tests

•  Daily monitoring and maintenance of nightly automated tests

You fit in well with us when you:

•  Either have just obtained your HBO+ diploma or have already gained considerable experience after your MBO degree

•  Have at least 2 years of experience as a technical test automation engineer or software engineer with ambitions to grow in test automation

•  Have experience with test tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin, and programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python

•  Are familiar with software development processes and CI/CD pipelines

•  Can comfortably work closely with software engineers, preferably with some background as a backend or frontend developer

•  Have strong organizational and structuring skills, and a willingness to support others with structure and processes

•  Thrive in an inclusive and international work environment

•  Have perseverance, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail

•  Have strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)

•  Have a good sense of humor
